Kim Robinson Helps Express Women’s Empowerment Through Hair

What makes a woman feel empowered? In our day and age, the term “women’s empowerment” is closely related to female rights, equality and recognising the strength in the females we are surrounded by daily. A stay-at-home mum, a pre-school teacher, a boss of her own company. Every individual faces their own set of challenges and carries a toughness to survive them.

An empowered woman is defined by a woman herself. Be it a definition relating to beauty, brains, confidence, resilience or strength, women should be celebrated for all that they do and the role that they play. Hair salon Kim Robinson pays homage to everyday extraordinary women in their latest style series, “Allure”.

Replicating party-ready evenings ‘dos, the salon’s hairstylists created six creative hair looks, highlighted by sunny touches of balayage and even gravity-defying styles.

From slick-meets-shag updos, dramatic side parts and avant-garde shapes with pro blow-drying in addition to setting and teasing techniques that Kim Robinson has come to be known for, the collection is filled with variety and personality, each look standing out with its unique characteristics – totally expressive of women.

The looks were also made possible with Oribe hair products, the luxury award-winning hair brand. One product in particular took the “Allure” collection to the next level, giving it a powerful touch. The Oribe Superfine Hair Spray was used on every look and provided the extra shiny, soft and lasting hold.

Having a sheer effect with a light-to-medium hold, it is designed to bring new technology to old-style glamour for flexible and shiny-soft control that can be brushed through. Thanks to ingredients such as Aloe Barbadensis Leaf extract, Pro-Vitamin B5 and Hydrolysed Wheat Protein, the hair remains hydrated, nourished and volumised with every spritz, boasting body and natural shine.
