Salon Director at Evolve Salon.  A highly creative and innovative individual, Ken Hong has been in the hairdressing industry for more than 20 years. Over the years, he has participated in various hair competitions and has also won many awards for his category in hairstyling.

Following his winning of the International Creative Colorist Award in Goldwell’s Trend Zoom Color Challenge in Spain in 2008, Ken had the chance to participate in the production of the Goldwell Color Zoom 2010 Collection together with Goldwell International Creative Team.  This participation has proved to be an eye opening experience for Ken and challenging as well.  He was the first Singaporean to receive this international hairstyling award and was appointed Goldwell’s Regional Ambassador of Asia. In 2008 and 2012, Ken received the title for Elle’s ‘Best Hairstylist of the Year’.

Other than his work in Singapore, Ken has left a deep impression on the international scene with frequent participation in hair shows worldwide, styling for renowned shows and events such as the Germany Next Top Model 2014 during their shoot in Singapore and the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Ceremony. Ken is also no stranger to stage performances in countries such as USA, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Japan, where he frequently worked his creativity on the hair of these performers.

He is a highly sought after hairstylist by many celebrities; his portfolio includes countless high-profile fashion magazine covers, television commercials and programs, and photo shoots.  The most recent and big event Ken has done was the F1 Rock Singapore Concert held in September 2009, where Ken was the main hairstylist for the Hollywood celebrity, Lindsay Lohan, throughout her stay in Singapore.
